Does anyone recognize this tree or bush? I find it in my woods in central Indiana. At the end of March it is fully leafed out as illustrated in this photo. The only other deciduous plant fully leafed out at this time is invasive honeysuckle, so I am suspecting that this may also be an invasive plant species.

The plant in the photo is about 18 inches tall. I have some of these plants that are up to 15 feet tall and have a single trunk with outstretched limbs like a maple or oak. I also have some that are about 4 to 8 feet tall and have multiple trunks joined at the soil line, much like a honeysuckle or lilac.

Thanks in advance for any insights you can provide.
