Yes, mother and kitten are still doing fine.

Although the cats are treated well, played with, fed and have plenty of places to get out of the weather and hide from predators, we don't shed a whole lot of tears if they go missing or get killed. We see them more as tools than pets. Sorry if that bothers some.

Doesn't other me there are housepets then there are rodent control, they are just as much a part of farm life as killing livstock after raising them. Our nation want to ignore that this lifestyle has ever existed, and rememberbac to the days where a kitten in th epioneering region could be bought for $10 they were so rare and highly desirable. But then again thy were only allowed in thehouse for rdent cntrol durng the fall winter months then booted out back to the barn. I used to see a lot of the barn cat i knew ru over but it was never as bad as a housecat to me.
