Welp I finally took the big step

    Bought 4 hens [$5.00 each]yesterday [mixed breed] from a neighbor I have coffee with
    they are about a year and a half old and producing brown eggs.
    Gota get the chicken tractor finished and bring them home this weekend.
    too many flying predators here to free range.

    The tractor is mostly done.
    brought the 4 gals home today.
    first egg at 5;00 tonight :D
    now that's return on kale.

    Talk about almost instant gratification, eh?
    Might get some more today but....

    Keep in mind that egg was in process before they left their old home,
    the move to a new place may stop production for awhile.

    Just don't tell us you built a tractor sized for 4 chickens. You've heard of that "chicken math" right? :)

    is that the math were ya carry the 4 and it turns into 40 ???

    that cant happen till the end of august
    got an agreement on a 30 acre hobby farm today

    then we will go nuts :D
