Is it normal for cows to get round hay bellys?

So it's not anything to worry about? I feel like a mother with her first newborn, and these heifers aren't even babies.

Skip if you eat a bale of hay what would your tummy look....well you know what I mean. Hay is a lot of gut wad and they'll look round if they eat enough of it.

Skip, if it makes you feel better just remember that cattle on roughage like hay have to consume a lot of hay in order to convert the feed into gain. A big gut and minimal parasites will grow you a great animal.

Thank you everyone. I keep thinking horses, and these girls are not horses. I am pleasantly surprised how odour free the cows are. Thanks again!!
