Just wondering about everyone's favorite homesteading-type catalogs and mail order companies (seeds, tools, farming equipment, survival, camping, outdoorsy, etc.). Hopefully this will give us all a broader range of companies to choose from.

My favorites are Johnny's Seeds, and Miller Nurseries. What are yours?

My favorite is a magazine - it's called Countryside & Small Stock Journal.
    It's got it all!

    Also search and find FarmTek.

Lots of stuff for farming, livestock, etc. Mainly hardware and such but much, much more.

    Free, large catalog.

I just got my new Farmtek catalog. It came in an envelope make of a foil insulation product they are selling. Innovative advertising. They also tossed in a free pair of work gloves.

Free schwag makes me much more likely to order from a company. One little computer company I use to do a good deal of business with ALWAYS sent free stuff along with my orders. CDs, CD cases and carriers, speakers, bags, books, all manner of computer boards and peripherals. Never knew what the boys were gonna stuff into my shipping carton. Once I got an entire seperate carton of free of goodies when they were cleaning out the stock room.

Also a big fan of Lehman's and Nasco. Never heard of FarmTek but searched and just ordered the catalog. That's what I love about this site! I always learn something new!
