Israel Today - Paying Attention?
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011...medium=twitter
For a couple of weeks now, Muslims have been announcing their intent to retake Israel TODAY. Many have converged on Israel's three borders and are trying to cross. So far the IDF has shot a significant number of them but it is just emboldening them. Keep an eye on this. It's what a zombie apocalypse looks like. |
don't they know it's suppose to happen on the 21st.?
I need to go find a place to get off the world. |
They'll all be martyred. Cross the line of non violent protest, and meet your dark lord, in person.
My sincerest hope is that someday, the illiterate Arab and Islamic masses will get a real education, not just studying their 'holy book'.... and realize they've been handed a bucket of warm sewage... everything they've been told is wrong. Of course, great wars started off as small fires... WWI started because of one bullet finding the right body... |

India and Pakistan are exchanging gunfire along their border again as well. I'm going to be very disappointed on the 22nd if we're all still here. ;) |

Meanwhile back at the White house we're illegally killing people in Libya, rebels and pro-government forces alike, and now threatening Syria. We'll be lucky to survive the remaining part of Obama's term without seeing major escalation in the Mideast. I figure it's only a matter of time before we see a nuclear incident either here or there. |
Another important deadline we're about to hit is May 20th. On that date, Obama's 60 day limit for use of military force in Libya expires and he must either get Congressional approval or pull our troops out of the NATO action.
Things have accelerated so fast that I can't keep track of them. |
I am glad you are here to inform us, though! I don't know how I would keep track of all those without your help!
|
Me and the other loudmouths can only do so much though. We likely as not won't get time to make a final post telling you it's time to head to the bunker.
There's no TEOTWAWKI meter we could use. No 1-10 scale that might be able to tell us when it's time to go. The best we can do is be informed and alert and realize that such a time draws closer. |
Ugh, and how terrible is that? Really, I (for one) am counting this as rush time. When I was little and my mom would leave, we would have a mad dash to get everything the way it SHOULD have been the entire time she was gone. To me, this is humanities crunch time, and while I find some things myself, and am preparing as though time was up (hasn't it been for years?) I SOOO appreciate your and other's efforts to keep others informed. Besides, hubby listens better to other's, lol. He thinks I'm a litle kookoo somedays. :D

Dang Ernie. I was coming in here to post this very thing when I spotted this thread. It's not fair that you're a few hours ahead of me...lol
As for the 21st being end of days time. I doubt it. I think it may well be WWIII time though. If Obamaco. doesn't pull out of Libya, and the muslims keep walking on Israel, added to 2 nuclear armed states starting to shoot it out again... Man oh man. My only issue is I'm not prepped for nuclear winter. I figure in such a world there isn't a lot I can do anyway. |
is this the beginning of WWIII?
|
and so it begins
|
This is why "Ernie" is a must read every day!

I wonder at what point Israel would haul out its nukes?

Something tells me the next WW, won't be stopped with a piece of paper... it'll end when one side or the other surrenders unconditionally. I'm a firm believer in a 2 state solution to the Israeli/Arab World conflict. Let the terrorists have their state. Unlimited whatever they want. But, the very first missile (or rock) that flies over the border, unconditional war commences and every soul for ten square miles dies. If the former Jordanians want to raise the white flag at that point, again, fine. Break the surrender again, and keep obliterating more territory... At some point, there'd be no former Jordanians left. Only a total war will solve this problem... the current status quo of 'peace' is the victor giving up land for paper promises, which are promptly broken..... |
If it happens it will just be a re-start to the lull in the war thats been going on since around 500AD. We just don't know anything about medieval history. Sometimes it's the Arabs do the massacring. Sometimes its the Christians, and Sometimes its the Jews. Just depends on what point in history it is. All nicely set up with Abraham
Erin Klein WABC is talking about this now. Israel can wipe them out anytime. but Political Correctness has become the rot inside those of principle. The Us govt has to take the holds off Israel |

My concern is more about the middle east and how the turmoil there is going to affect our prices for oil and food. We can garden, but prepping for transportation to/from work is difficult when every route involves using gas/oil. |
The eastern world, it is exploding
Violence flarin', bullets loadin' You're old enough to kill, but not for votin' You don't believe in war, but what's that gun you're totin' And even the Jordan River has bodies floatin' But you tell me Over and over and over again, my friend Ah, you don't believe We're on the eve of destruction. Don't you understand what I'm tryin' to say Can't you feel the fears I'm feelin' today? If the button is pushed, there's no runnin' away There'll be no one to save, with the world in a grave [Take a look around ya boy, it's bound to scare ya boy] And you tell me Over and over and over again, my friend Ah, you don't believe We're on the eve of destruction...... Not very wise for poorly armed peasants to poke sticks at fire breathing dragons as they sleep.:croc:

I think that the last thing they want is peace with Israel. The world feeds these people. They can't afford to lose the downtrodden image. Are they into manufacturing? Large scale farming? Oil?
|
The last time I checked, this was still the S&EP board, not GC/P. What does this escalation have to do with S&EP? In what ways can we be better prepared if this is the beginning of the stuff hitting the fan? Seriously, is this something I need to take some action on now? And what action?
|
No, it's not shtf. It's just chapter sixty four of the never ending Middle East saga between the various players there. NONE of whom are our friends and I'm not excluding anyone.
We've been through this more times than I can remember. One day something really will break loose there and change the game. But I believe it's quite likely to come at a time of relative "calm" not in the midst of a crisis (it will actually cause the crisis) and when it does it's going to happen in the middle of our night because it'll be on the other side of the planet from us. Until then it's just more of the same. Get prepped, stay prepped, then get on with your life. |

BTW, Israel has a Sampson Defense strategy for their nukes but I don't believe they'll ever really need it. There's something about a really important book that says a lot about it... Also I would stay out of Damascus too... Just what I've heard... |
