ETA: Ernie, a shovel leaves evidence. The true friend has hogs that eliminate the evidence.

Another reason to shop at the little store in my tiny town instead of in the big supermarket. Anyway, if you don't get the majority of your food and other consumables in a store then they won't know what you have. I know for a fact the farm where I get milk and meat isn't capturing me on camera. And hopefully no satellites tracking what I pick from my garden, although I suppose that one is remotely possible. I'm going to read Ernie's page about getting around the facial recognition, but I also think the best way to get around the system is to just remove yourself from it as much as possible.

Having worked retail, while it is certainly possible, its costs way too much and serves no useful purpose for the store.

Theres no profit in it - always follow the money, and in this case there isn't any

based on the quality of most "surveillance" video you see when the store is robbed, I am doubting Joe's five and dime is putting in face tracking software. Now granted a big chain might have better camera, but they dont care about you unless your taking things you dont pay for.

Yeah, speaking about face recognition, what if they employed this type of algorithm in the satellites? What if they ran a "farm" recognition version? What if the locations where people are raising their own food is being cataloged. It would most certainly be within the capability of those that would have even thought of something like "Face Recognition" and the various means of collecting that data.

Ernie is on the right track if my opinion means anything. There are those that would have us ignore the creeping Info Gathering that is inundating our world buy it is insidious in nature. Why people wish to go about their own business ignoring what this or any government is doing is beyond me. Information, even innocuous information in certain quantities can be groomed to make an untruth to be verifiable truth when played the proper way. Hence, it will be possible to demonize innocent people which become a hindrance to the government and with that skewed information they can gain the approval of the "sheep" for whatever actions deemed necessary by the PTB.

Thanks fordy! Unlike Colorado, we don't deal with snow . . . but we have dug bot flies out of chickens, dogs, cows, bunnies, and one wild oriole chick the kids rescued. None of the people have had a bot fly . . . yet . . .
