Gun Control -"Executive action ... can be taken," Biden said

Well I don't know about y'all but I think those that have guns or are thinking of buying guns and ammo might want to take into consideration what Biden said today regarding gun control.

The White House has sought to avoid prejudging what Biden's recommendations would be. But the vice president hinted Wednesday that executive action -- action by the president in which Congress would not have a say -- would indeed be involved.

"Executive action ... can be taken," Biden said, adding "we haven't decided what that is yet."

He also said separate legislative action would be "required."

here's a link to read while you contemplate what to prepare for next:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013...safety-groups/

I do believe that Obama had plans all along to utilize executive power to get what he wants out of this deal. I think and believe that this whole dog and pony show with Biden meeting with people to "get ideas" is just a front.

Once they start "hinting" well the next thing you know, a new "order" has been passed.

No the BLEEP it can't.

That BLEEPIN BLEEP dictator wanna-be better watch his back. He also may want to amp up his security detail before someon gives him a "sun roof". Plenty of fanatical wing nut types hated him during the first election. I'm willing to bet he's snowballing a rebel alliance at lightning speed.

Seems to me he musta' bumped his head real hard to get his "I'm so special" God complex. Too many of his cronies blowing sunshine up his dagum wazoo and he goes all reality star, diva, Lindsey Lohan, untouchable on us.

I'm sick of the good ole boy government system where special interest money funds your election and buys your seat. It's a society of mutual admiration who have zero clue about the citizens reality. They just make the dangnapit rules up as they go.

He DOES NOT have the authority to touch our constitution with his creative and manipulative power plays. He can smooch our collective arses.

I wonder how hard it would be for us to do a citizen arrest against him for a charge of treason. What court would we have to go to? I think I'm about to do some research.

Flippin' BLEEP, giving me indigestion.

Just saw that article over at Zerohedge, utube clip is included. Not sure what it means. Agree HL with indigestion, this situation is nasty no matter how you spin it. I wonder if this isn't in part to shake the bushes, get people to buy quickly, use credit cards, etc. and track it....just adds to such uneasiness.

TO many people with ther head in the sand. Its no longer a case of will it blow up. It s a case of when.. Obama is going to push this and a dozen other things all at the same time. That is how you its done. The question is how long are people going to set around and think that we could never be Greece or worse Germany in the 30's 40's. I don't know hat is going to happen but right now I guarantee you we will wake up to 193-40 Germany one day.the way its going now

The only foreseable end to this that I see is that they are going to make alot of lawabiding citizens criminals. Maybe that will be the answer. If noone complies with their edicts what would be the outcome. I see the same thing here in Illinois with concealed carry. We just sit back a wait for them to do the "right thing". What if we all just started carrying. What are they going to do, arrest 250,000 of us? People sooner or later are going to have to realize that the real power lies with the citizenry not the people who are supposed to be working for us.
Well that should have put me on a couple of lists.

zant did this link a disservice. It's by the author of "Enemies Foreign and Domestic" (if you have not read it, you should, but have the tums ready - you'll need it.)

This is a couple of paragraphs down from the top of the page:

Quote:
A decade ago I wrote the novel Enemies Foreign and Domestic, a tale about how tragic events involving the misuse of firearms can be used by an evil administration to misinform and mold public opinion to support its malign anti-freedom policies.

No, my novel was not predicting “Operation Fast and Furious” a decade before that covert policy of “pursuing gun control under the radar,” (which was President Obama’s explanation to Sarah Brady for his lack of overt political action). That inter-agency gun-walking policy, remember, resulted in the deaths of over four hundred Mexicans and two U.S. federal agents, murdered in an effort to discredit the Second Amendment and lead to more restrictive gun control laws in America. (If Nixon—or any Republican, for that matter—were in office, the intentional bloodbath would be called Murdergate, but today’s collaborating Woodwards and Bernsteins are in on the cover-up.)
this is enough to suggest you read the link

I wonder if that could be done for every congress critter that votes on something that goes against their oath of office to "support and defend the Constitution"
Interesting thought, any lawyers on the board?

Citizens arrest will not work. You have the Supreme court on Das Fuehrer side. Since Roberts went left. That is why keep telling this will end up only one way.

Another thing, as for these gosh darn lists. I am sick to bleepin death of being afraid and intimidated of those lists. They can take those lists and jam them up their colons. There is no reason that in this country, among any in the world that we lol "free" citizens should have to fear consequences of "free" speech.

F that noise.

The survival and homesteader types are one of greatest assets our lazy arse entitlement country has. Eradicate us and your whole house of cards stops being built and funded.

I was an outspoken youth, it was a hassle. I was preaching this stuff long before it's time. Too much energy trying to awaken sheep, so I retired. Then I moved to the far reaches of society where I could live unmolested, well behaved, law abiding and free. Everything was fine and I was okay watching my P' and Q's for the peace of my children.

But noooooo, even that wasn't good enough. Evil found me just like I always knew it would, couldn't hide forever. So along comes this mother bleeper who thinks he can take just one thing more. I've had enough, I can't chew back my rage anymore, I'm bleepin done with with this poop.

So, add me to every mother bleepin list there is, make a new list for mouthy curs like me. You know what, what the heck, add me to the attitude problem if you ever show up at my property list too. Then put me on the shove the lists down your reptile throat with a fist list. Then wrap it all up with a bow and ship it all the way to the darkest corner of your bowels list.

I refuse to be quiet on behalf of my children or my perceived freedom anymore. I flat out will not ever raise well behaved citizens. They need an attitude problem, they need to learn to stand up tall, with a giant fist against the tanks at tienamin square alone if need be. I refuse to set the example of a meek citizen bent over and ready for, well you know.

So Mr. and Ms. list compiler, you may first suck on a rotten chicken dropping encrusted egg. Then you can send a special note to your team leader to let them know "Houston we have a problem, dissention in the ranks". Mark me down for the first to be reprogrammed in the labor camp. I am A okay with it. You will NOT ever get our guns. Take me away in a box car or a bag, I don't care.

Until you follow the law and repeal the 2nd amendment you can't do jack squat to the American spirit. You can take my life, my home and my family but you will never take my rights.

Oh yeah, if you waterboard me or hurt my family you better just go ahead and kill me, I promise that it will be in the best interest of your safety.

I need some tylenol, is that still legal? I know it's taxed as is the gas in my taxed vehicle to get there that I pay for with taxed income and take back to my taxed home that is heated by taxed fuel while I type over taxed internet with my taxed laptop.

I need to run into a brick wall head first and knock myself out.

HL.....no amendment to the us constitution has the power to abrogate rights, I don't care what color the koolaid or what brand the smoke.

Where do you and others keep coming up with this defeat-ridden notion ?

Otherwise, do carry on.

If he does take "admininstrative action", it will hopefully be of a nature that would make a large enough number of people angry enough to force the issue in either Congress or the courts.
So far there doesn't seem to be enough anger at his previous "administrative actions" to have a line drawn where someone says to him that "You can't do that." His choices for doing these things have been cynically targeted to things that are politically hard to fight, at least for spineless COngress, like creating new immigration rules by fiat.
But if he hopefully if he does what Biden is intimating, it will be a serious misstep. He definitely needs a lesson in respecting the Constitution.
