Quote of the Century on Obama and America (from the Czech Republic)

Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way you can understand them. This quote came from the Czech Republic . Someone over there has it figured out. We have a lot of work to do.

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president." I received this e-mail and checked it with snops(sic) they claim it to be true author unknown.

The symptoms have been around for a few decades, we've been electing and re-electing the same clowns that got us into this mess for decades.

Exactly!! And its the reason we have to get back into the schools and take them back. Teach math, history, civics,English and how to manage a budget, make legal profit, invest and on and on. As long as we are worried about political correctness, not offending anyone, rationalization, and making excuses we are/never will make it. Obama is the tip of the iceberg and we are the titanic

And they know they can lie and get away with it. I doubt that this is the change that Obama supporters had it mind. And the tip-off should have been when he appointed Tim Geithner as Treasury Secretary, but of course, it was too late by then.

Because if this OWS gets a bigger hold and the conservative people so in love with it don't get it on the right track (They can't cause its doing exactly what was intended from the start. the whole reason they have no leader or agreed on demands. Every body can come and sing cumbaya that the all have things in common. they have love and everyone gets a trophy ) And I think I know you better but we live with something written over 2000 years ago.
you better be prepped to the gills.

It is hard to trust a viral email even a little bit as the truth behind them gets twisted to suit particular agendas. Often the same thing is sent over and over with just the names changed to protect the guilty.

This exact same comment appeared one month earlier, on March 28, below a Reuters article ** — DAVOS-Soros says Obama bank levy premature, backs other plans. It is not clear where the comment originated, but what is certain is that it predated its appearance at the time of the Prague meeting between Obama and Medvedev.
(** http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSLDE60Q23H20100127 In the Comments section )

Apparently these remarks have struck a chord in the US electorate, and so the email, with its included incorrect attribution to the Czech paper, has gone viral. But whatever the Czechs may or may not believe privately, their press is NOT guilty of showing discourtesy to a visiting foreign head of state.

Who is claiming that it appeared in a Czech paper?

It would appear the patriot network is, or a fella named Signalman that posts over there anyway.

What difference does it make if a jackass talking to Paul said it. Truth is truth and it don't make any difference how old it is. but as usual lets argue about the unimportant stuff

You might like to know Rush endorsed RP plan to cut 1 trillion out of the budget. Told everybody that they would be mad at him but he thinks that is the way to go. Doesn't endorse RP himself though

It does make sense, though even I admit that RP goes overboard sometimes. But I'd rather have a guy that's too thrifty than too spendy.

Also, Rush isn't a bad guy all the time. He's a jerk, but I can respect that.

It's simple moral cowardice, like 95% of the GOP.

It is always important to attribute a quote correctly. You can't just go around making things up. Oh yeah. I guess you can in today's world. The OP wrote that "Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way you can understand them. This quote came from the Czech Republic ." No it didn't. And for all you know it came from a Texan in California since the person who wrote it used the internet name 02bntexas. When you bastardize a message you ruin it.

Just because the original author cannot be determined does not mean that the message has been "bastardized".

In a message like this there is no way that the context can be in question. The message stands on it's own merits no matter who wrote it.
