Great idea!
I like keeping p38's in various places(key chain, purse, car) so that I'm less likely to have to worry about opening a can.

Too cool! I'll have to use this in my apocalypse story.

Cool idea, but I always have a knife on me... so long as I never lose it.. grabbing it every morning is as natural as grabbing my socks..
I gotta remark too... FPSRussia has a much better accent, but I guess people want to imitate the best..

I always have a knife also. guaranteed if I tried that in the house I'd be a week scraping it off the ceiling. good to know though. ~Georgia.

I saw this from someone else before, but it's a great tip.
Even if you have a knife, I'd rather rub a can open than dull or chance snapping the tip off my blade. I do tend to buy the little military style can openers but they're so darned small I lose them! But since I've bought a dozen, there's probably one around.

Ok, I gave it a try with a can of green beans, You really have to do some serious rubbing, or maybe use more pressure than I was.
After the top edge looked pretty tore up, I squeezed the sides together like they show. It also took a bit of work, but in the end the lid popped off!
