Ds and DH just went to a scout winter campout this week end. Part of their activities was a dutch oven cook off . DH said that the food was all so good. He liked everything that was there. And DH doesn't like much. I sent an apple crisp with him for them to cook. They ate every scrap of it. We need another dutch oven now- one for dinner and one for dessert. Okay- maybe 3 - one for a bread too.

Every summer they have a Dutch oven cook-off during the Buffalo River Elk Festival. Some real gourmets there. They cook a 5-course meal all at once, stacking the Dutch ovens on top of each other with charcoal briquets on the bottom and top of each pot. They cook some very fancy dishes.

That's neat how they stack them while cooking. I have 2 DOs and enjoy them. Some people get down right obsessed.
