Hey Kids -- UK Doomsday Preppers

While noodling about on YouTube I came across the UK version of Doomsday Preppers. Here is a link for the first one I came across,
, It appears to be just the one show. I thought there were others, but it was the same one. Hope some of you will enjoy it.

ETA: Wow, it embedded for me.

Wow, they copied us for once!

I hope people pay attention to it. Living in the UK would scare the wits out of me with how depended they are on imports.

Right, it seemed like the lunacy was way, way down. These people actually sounded normal and sensible for the most part. I guess NatGeo knows what they can get away with and where they can get away with it.

Most of us have probably watched Wartime Farm which really drives the point home about living on an island and being dependent on imports for a large amount of one's needs. (If any of you have not watched Wartime Farm -- available on YouTube -- please do so forthwith.)

That's why the tattooed, science-fiction author moved to Serbia (IIRC).**correction -- Slovakia.

I am going to keep my eye out for more episodes. It is worth watching the UK show and even our nutz. Even here in the good ol' USA, the crazies may still have some good ideas we can adapt to our own situations.

Never thought about it.... GB in a TEOTWAWKI? At first thought, I'd say survivability chances would be low... lots of people, very few places that aren't accessible (read I believe no place in GB is more than 60 miles from the coast???) In a 'most everyone dies' scenario, I could see surviving...
