The clothing, the buildings, the kitchen all remind me of my boyhood where I grew up on a farm in north central North Dakota after WWII and into the early 1950's. We really did not come out of the shortages on the farm created by Great Depression until about 1955.

unfortunately somebody always go sharing the channel around the net.

then the account gets shut down.

this poster use to have lots of videos.

One series was the Green valley.

Shortly after links where posted on another board the account was shut down.

Some people go out of their way to report such things.

I say why make it easy for them?

Other then that there is the TOS here at HT.

There are better ways to share this kind of thing.

A simple mention that you watched a good show, it was about this and that.
and then folks can do a search and find it.

rather then drawing the Grinch's attention.

So, who are "they" and why do the channels get shut down? I would like to know. Is he posting something horrible or something?

I'm going to watch it tonight on my kindle, thanks!

well its all copy right, soooo

They just are sour pusses, I doubt the cr owners are seeing it here.

but some one keeps reporting it.

less attention is not a bad thing.

but what ever, just tried and share a little etiquette about such things.

I suppose he has lots of bandwidth and time to reup those vids.

just cause he twitters it does not mean some anti is seeing it.

That is something that annoys me, when there is obviously so much demand for a show, and the only way that you can see it is on YouTube. I would be happy if the BBC or whoever would sell it on DVD here, because I would much rather buy a higher quality copy than watch the grainy feed and slow download time on YouTube. But they don't sell them here as far as I have found. I normally respect copyright law and try to do things the right way, but if I hadn't been able to watch on YouTube I wouldn't have been able to see Tales from the Green Valley, Victorian Farm, etc.

this show is broadcast free over the bbc in u.k.theres still debate about creative commons law with free shows and such.so the real problem is between bbc and people who show it on youtube.

just so you know the link to green valley was posted weeks ago by another in the HT main forum.

you can buy a copy of shows but they wont play on our dvd players....you can only play on your computer.

pop some popcorn and get to watching while you can.nothing lasts forever.

"Free" is relative. If you live in the UK you pay 50 pounds/year (about $100) for a Television License, and that money (plus, you know, UK taxpayers' money) goes to the BBC to make and broadcast "Free" TV shows. So I can kinda see their side of the argument as well...

Personally I'd love to buy these (and the previous ones, "Victorian Farm" and "Edwardian Farm) on DVD, but as it has been pointed out, they're not available in our DVD format. Especially since my Internet connection isn't always good enough to watch stuff on YouTube...

I did want to thank you for letting us know about it. I wasn't aware that they had a new show. I love anything that these guys do and wish we had more like it on American TV, instead of yet another singing competition or scripted reality show.

Thanks for taking the time to find and post things that apply and are of interests to this forum, elkhound.

Now, can you give me more hours of the day away from the cubicle so I can have these playing as I something else nearby and listen/watch?

well yall know i post alot of youtube vids and post tons of pictures i take of things i do.

i just wanna help and show things can be done on your own.i am so much more self reliant now .i am getting closer to my goals each day of daily needs and coming up with my own versions of long term prep items.

life is short....live it...enjoy it....none of this will matter a hundred years from now.

I have been doing silage this year with contractor bags and 55 gallon drums and garbage cans we have. I have about 3 months worth so far. I still don't have my corn silage in yet. That should add some more. I love how they did their silage silo. Very doable on a small scale. I love the pig club! That was brilliant! could do that for chickens too,
It has my mind thinking more. I have already had a lot of ideas for Next spring. This just gave me more. Oh my poor husband! Lol

What helped that guy get his page shut down was people writing to the BBC, telling them that they had seen the show on you tube and then ask if they could buy copies. I think it was last year that it happened. Multiple people were saying how they contacted the BBC and the BBC said that the vids were not available for sale. Then a week later the page was shut down for copyright violations.
