So you think your ready..........???

I started prepping in 1964, and often laps into periods of foolish arrogance. Articles like this slap me like a bucket of ice water in the face.

So what stage do you think the US is at right now?
I think 7 is starting to roll and 8, 9,and 10 will happen very fast and who knows how many people will be left alive if everyone starts shooting.....

I'd also say we are in #7, and hope it doesn't snowball too quickly.

In my opinion we are late stage 4 and transitioning into stage five. I am expecting a slow septic rot and not a clear warning type event.

We have several of the indicators from even the phases past 7 to one level or another. they arent so clear cut. Ultimately though Id agree with sourdough, we are mostly in stage 4. the indicators from the later stages we have, Id expect to get much worse unless something pulls out the rugs all at once. at which point this chart means nothing.

Where I live (Alberta) the economy is booming and the crops are good in most areas. But at least a 1/2 dozen times a day we hear warnings about the coming food shortage and price increases because of the drought in the US and Ontario. The grocery prices have been sharply rising for the past couple years on just about everything already I can just imagine them doubling now.
Maybe Canada is more survival minded that we're getting these warnings? We already have an annual survival preparedness week.
