My Little Garden (pic heavy)

We have a pretty small garden - four 4 x 16 raised beds plus broccoli, horseradish, raspberries, and our one new blueberry bush. Here are some pics:

Very nice. You must either be watering or else in one of the lucky spots for rain. Much of my garden is toast due to drought. I can only do so much watering as it has required hauling water.

Good work. Only what you can keep up with.

This year I have only three pumpkin hills. Planted for grand babies.

We got a lot of water early on and then everything started to dry up. When we weren't getting rain, I used the sprinkler every 2 to 3 days.

I don't have a cold frame - I think you must be seeing the wood frame box. We have a few strawberry plants in there. We had to cage them in in order to keep the squirrels out!

This is just enough for the two of us for now. We have enough to eat during the summer and enough tomatoes & cukes to can and peppers and zucchini to freeze. Other than the front yard, this is the only area we can plant. We have two large butternut trees in the back yard and can't plant any vegetables near them.

They must be discolored in the photo but those are broccoli.

I really like what you've done. And the use of the pvc piping to build your frames with is neat.

And I like seeing the flowers.

It all looks really good.

Looks good, you had a good year. I have a "pig planter" too. It was my MIL's and was given to me when she passed away.

We take it all apart in the fall and store it over the winter. We've been using it for years.

I found this pig at a yard sale. It needs some work so every time it rains we put it in the garage!

That's our little patch of strawberries. DH had to make a cage of 1 x 1's and hardware cloth in order to keep the squirrels out!
