Costco emergency food supplies
Hi, I remember a thread a while back, I think, where Costco Emergency food supplies, available online were discussed.
Today I was in a Costco, and saw a bunch of square buckets on an end cap. It contained supplies similar to this: Costco - 330 Total Servings of Emergency Food Storage ARK 1 Month Supply By Chefs Banquet
Only it had fewer servings, I think 200. And I think it was about $68.00 for a bucket.
The bucket in the link is bigger, and has more food in it. It costs $84.99. It says that it has 330 servings, which are supposed to feed one adult for 30 days. That comes out to 11 servings per day and provide 2200 calories per day.
If I ever come up with the money, I would like to get something like this for some family members who haven't taken the time to prep for themselves.
Of course, these are "just add water", so they will have to store some water too!
