I would like to get this soon, however, I was wanting to use a 20 pound propane tank instead.

First off, where is the regulator? Is it inside the stove?

Secondly, do they make hoses for these stoves to hook up to a 20 pound tank...

Yes that will work I have one and I have a "propane distribution tree" that I like even more you can put a lantern on top and hook up your stove.
