Hobbies That Will Get You in Trouble

Apparently hydroponic labs in your basement attract mosquitos, mildew, and unmarked helicopters.

If you go at dawn wearing camo and a ski mask then I find it looks less suspicious.

I'm loading on the innuendo and it's fake. I haven't partaken since about 99 or 2000.
In all honesty you couldn't do that where I live, I'm right under a Military chopper highway.

Don't leave raising pet bunny rabbits off the list of hobbies that will get you in trouble.

Heh. I'm having a little fun today. I'm in a rare good humor.

I got the submersible pump on my well fixed so we now have a reliable water supply again. And through some barter shennanigans it didn't even cost me as much real cash as I'd thought it might. We can't all be blessed and have crystal clear and fabulously tasty drinking water bubbling right out of the ground on our property. Some of us have to go down 90 feet or more to get something drinkable.

Pipe smoking is my preferred way to ingest tobacco, but my wife made me promise to give it up if she quit smoking. She did, and then after about a year later began to bludgeon me about my end of the bargain, so I had to give up my pipe. Now I smoke the occasional cigar but they are too expensive for a cheap fellow like me.

As for smoking the other stuff, it used to be one of my favorite pastimes. I find it nice, relaxing, and harmless. HOWEVER, the danged government has ramped up the penalties on it to such a degree that it's just not worth it. I don't want to lose my farm and 30 years of my life in order to enjoy a nice smoke out on the back porch one warm summer evening.

Stuff like this always makes me laugh. I swear with all the illegal drug activity (just talk to any college student) going on, you would think there would be no time for the "Powers that Be" to monitor such internet chatter....BUT just as sure as I'm a southern boy, I'll bet they got me tapped like the mob.

There could be a guy driving a truck load of illegal imagrants all toting a kilo of coke in the lane next to me.......I'd bet a dime against my dollar if I had a tail light out I would end up with a knee in my back and a flashlight in my face. In all seriousness I never speed and the two times I have knowingly had my foot alittle to close to the ground......I got tickets. Both times. Odds?

Every time I see a roadblock my heart beats like a felon....and I'm clean....just thinking what if

Ive considered aquaponics to grow out fish , but I would have to put in a helipad first to keep the feds from landing on my garden.......cause they would sure show up to investigate.

Y'all are so funny. Ernie, count your blessings you only had to go down 90 feet. Try 400' and so much iron you can't drink it.

It's funny you say that. The pasture land around my house has a few trees left in it at odd intervals. I was up here talking to a buddy when his GF asked me why I didn't cut em down and open up a little more. Guy turns to her and says, without missing a beat mind you, so the Feds have to come up the driveway... She didn't get it, but I thought it was funny.
For those that are wondering, they are cedars and I like them. I have tried to leave as many cedars up here as I could. Has nothing to do with choppers.

I knew a guy once that was visiting with a friend on the front porch of his cabin in North Carolina. The pot planes were working the area, and about to make a pass over his corn patch. His friend suddenly got a big grin on his face and said "Watch this". As the plane came into view, he jumped off his porch, ran out into the corn patch and pulled up the tallest weed he could find. Throwing it over his shoulder, he ran for all he was worth into the tree line. Naturally, within minutes the local sheriff arrived with the DEA, and didn't seem to be particularly amused when they didn't find anything.

Please put spew alert in post like this...I'm so glad I hadn't taken another sip of coffee before I started reading!

If I don't tame my bulk food shopping, I'm going to get into trouble with my kids. I've already started kicking their toys tubs out from under their beds to put chick peas, bread flour, dried cranberries, etc. Thing is if they can't find an acceptable place for their toy tubs the toys have to go. In my defense, I have gotten rid of some of my stuff and stashed things under my bed and in my closet, too.
