Lightbulb A few good deals

Hey, if anyone else knows of a good deal or three, I hope you post it here.

Walgreens has a great sale this week on Chicken of the Sea 14.75oz Pink Salmon- $1.49 with store coupon found in their circular (circulars are in today's paper and in a rack at the front of the store). The limit is 3, but you can do the parking lot relay and/or price match at Walmart and any other stores in your area that price match.

Walgreens also has Oscar Mayer 16oz Bacon 2/$7, no store coupon required and the ad doesn't state any limits.

Amazon has Kraft Grated Parmesan, 8 Ounce Cannister (Pack of 12) $21.13 + free shipping with S&S ($24.86 w/o S&S), this is CHEAP!! http://rcm.amazon.com/e/cm?lt1=_blan...ins=B002UQEDTG

I know it has nothing to do with S&EP but it made me laugh too much this morning. Walgreens had Almay make up at 30% off, so some items were at $5.49 then you get a $5.00 register rewards and I had some $2.00 coupons so it was actually a money maker. My husband was making the drugstore runs this morning with my 3 year old so I told them to just pick something. My son picked out a three pack eyeshadow with a bonus eyeliner and the colors are actually pretty nice. I don't wear make up often but when I will use it I'll always remember a three year old is my beauty consultant!

And you are right mpillow, not much at Rite Aid, didn't even go.

At one time, I would have been all over that Chicken of the Sea salmon. But a year or so ago, they changed and it is NOT Alaska salmon anymore, it is yet another product of China. So you really are getting what you pay for with that one.

Thanks for all the tips and deals you post overall, though, I have learned from them and sure others do too.

I agree, I get Alaska salmon- but can't get it very often because it's too expensive!! (Sometimes CVS has a good sale on Bumblebee salmon, which is Alaska wild caught).

Most people don't mind/don't care, and/or just want a cheap prep item, so the wags sale is good for those people.

Subscribe and Save.

Many consumables sold by Amazon give you cheaper prices if you agree to receive them on a regular basis.

(edited to reword the above sentence because it came out sounding funny)

I did the CVS thing today and before coupons my total was 51.00 after coupons .18 plus tax I paid out of pocket 2.48 and got $9 in extra care bucks back to spend next week. I am stocked on sauve deodrant and shampoo and also got the kids 3 cases of sprite and 3 big bottles of smart water to take on day trips with us. And a box of hair color to cover my grays--now that is a S&EP need you know especially with family pictures happening tomorrow!

I don't wear makeup either, but when they pay me to take makeup, I take it! I use the overage to pay for other stuff, then give away the makeup.

As far as the Walgreens Almay deal....what about this one?

Everyone is trying to figure out the best deal with this week's $5 RR on a single Almay purchase at Walgreens. Try this:
Product DetailsAlmay Make Up Remover or Towelettes $4.19
- $2 Walgreens Spring Beauty Guide*
- $5 RR
FP free + $2.81 MM

Maybe the towelettes could be considered a BOB or prep item in a low water situation so it counts here? lol

I get an awful lot of free baby wipes and toilet wipes. I have them stored as a prep item.

I like the Fatwallet Hot Deals forum for tracking down good deals on all kinds of stuff:

http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/

For example, here's a 30 round AR-15 magazine for $11.20 with free shipping - http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/1083553/

Does Target price match, too? Or just Wally World?

AFAIK, Target price matches, but I've never tried it there.

My Target store here doesn't seem to know their own coupon policy, so I keep things simple there, and save the price matching for Walmart.
