long lasting boot laces

We all have heavy duty lace-up type farm boots and Army boots and are having trouble finding laces that last. If I could find something that lasts more than a few months without breaking I'd stock up right away! What do you all use?

I have had great luck with 550 paracord...the real stuff. Cut to length and burn the ends. It's cheap and easy to stock up on. I have had the same paracord laces on my workboots for nearly a year. Bonus is if you give it a try and it doesn't work out you still have a useful item with the rest of the paracord.

Thanks, d1337 - we'll give it a try. Much cheaper than replacing boot laces every few months. I also saw some "lifetime guarantee" laces on the TSC website, but they're only available in the stores, not online. I tend to think paracord would work better.

I thought I was the only one cheap enough to use paracord.
