portable propane oven

DH bought a Brinkmann portable propane oven today. Has anyone had any experience with that particular brand. He has already bought it. But when I tried researching it I couldn't find any. Amazon said it was not avaliable.

He can't return it because he bought it from a salvage store. I guess I'll try it out in a day or too. If it works it would be a great bug out oven. If we were to have to bug out it couldn't be on foot anyway.

I have one for camping and love it! If the one you have is like mine, it is taller than it is wide and is black? Easy to use, just hook up propane, and light. I don't use the ignitor, I just stick a BBQ lighter through the hole near the bottom left (as you are standing in front of the oven facing it) and turn the knob on the control. Bakes 2 large baking potatoes in about 2 hours on high. A 6-cup muffin tin will fit in it, as will any other pan around that size. Mine has 2 racks, so I could bake double that amount if needed.

I forget what brand name is on mine, but I haven't used it so can't say if it's good or not. I'm waiting for a power outage to try it out. I've had it a while and no power outages. Maybe just having it in the closet is bringing me good luck.
