I've even had a "fake" police officer follow me home. I know everyone's circumstances are different, but the point is, really use your head. Please be safe.

Someone pulls in behind me, once I pull off the main road, if it's not the other family that lives down thissaway, my relatives, or the oil company, I pull on down the road, and park on a blind curve, hop out of the truck, and politely ask them who they are, where they going, what they're doing, always taking the license plate #, etc. Follow me home? Bwahaahahhahhah.... they'd never get that far. If they're up to no good, my concealed 'friend' reveals itself, and the conversation ends, turn around and leave or take a good look around, this is where you'll remain for an eternity, or until my flock of pet buzzards disassembles them. Only had to use the 'friend' technique once, they haven't ever made it back down here. One of my 10 commandments... Thou shalt not abide a meth head.
True, you can't be too safe. But when you feel unsafe, it should only last a second or two, until you can reach over and un-holster hellfire and destruction on whatever is threatening your tranquility.
