Got my mossberg back from the smith.....had a magazine issue.

I felt so incomplete. This is the same gun I used against a perp attempting to enter my home at midnight. I leave one shell out so they can hear me jack a shell in the chamber. That is what I did over a year ago to the perp. When I jacked the shell in the chamber the perp fell to the ground and begged.

I have other guns but this gun allows one step before pulling the trigger. In Illinois, you have to prove you were threatened with bodily harm. Its an 18.5 inch pistol grip.

When I purchased it, there was a plug already in it. The factory rammed that the thing up there messing up the spring. Mossberg said they would send me the spring for free. However, the smith was able to dismantle it and put a brand new spring in for 20 bucks. The barrel had to be unscrewed from load area and I was having trouble unscrewing it. Regardless, I came out okay.

Time to clean it tomorrow and get her ready. I have a police scanner as well as my ham radio out and there is a lot of riff raff big time in the community. There are not enough officers on duty. Theres a police chase, a car break in, and their after some van...all this in the last 30 minutes.
