It's a satellite channel. Probably carried by some of the cable companies as wel but I don't know for sure.

It's on DISH-TV as well as Direct TV, I think.
We get it on DISH channel 396, The Outdoor Channel, every week.
There are lots of Survival & Shooting Shows on Wednesday afternoon & evening, each week.

I see season 1 for sale at amazon. We missed that season as we were in Europe, was it any good? DH and I are considering buying it if it's worth it.

Best survival is a nice program, very high level and not enough detailed information to survive on but is a good program to put thought of topics to explore for most people.

Its hosted by Michael bane and he has nice delivery style.
