Interview with a musician

http://paralleluniverse.msn.com/feat...ory/?GT1=28140

What is THIS doing on the SEP forum?? Well... give it a chance

For some lightness and I found it VERY interesting. The musician in question is Waylon Jennings son. He, his wife, and baby were driving across the country in an RV right after the financial collapse started happening.
He's a fan of late night talk shows and some of the concerns of "global manipulations and those in powers" that he was hearing late at night caused him to start investigating things.
He made an album based from that experience. The album is "narrated" by Stephen King pretending to be a dj playing his last sets of music at the end of days.
I'm not good at describing things, just give the interview a read if I've piqued your curiousity at all

Shooter isn't a musician. He's the outlaw son of outlaws who just happens to make some good music like his mama and daddy did and he's paying his dues right now.

I don't know that those possibilities detracted any from the message that he's trying to convey.

Just as his daddy conveyed a message that the nation liked enough that you saw Waylon for President bumper stickers, Shooter will be able to convey his own message and it would not surprise me to see Shooter for President bumper stickers in the not too distant future.

Sure , the Waylon for President bumper stickers were mainly a music genre support symbolism, but if Waylon had chosen to run for President you don't think he would have been a contender?

Shooter will use this album and his outlaw heritage to make his political influencing stance as all celebs do.

I don't think 'outlaw' in this context is the same outlaw most of us think about when we hear outlaw. Outlaw music was (iffen I remember correctly) music that broke the Nashville Country Music rules...

I'll have to see if it's on napster.
