California Agriculture Lands Dry Up

a couple days ago they broke the news that some Agriculture lands wont be be getting any water. There cutting 25% of the water that our farm got last year. I guess we are lucky as some places wont get any water at all in my area.

My local Paper

This will most likely mean an increase cost of produce which will not be good for people already struggling to make payments. Locally we have been seeing an increase of thefts and robberies also.

This year I知 putting in a decent market garden but I知 struggling inside myself. I知 establishing this garden to can and put up a lot of food for my family and to make extra money on the side. But as I Liston to farmers for other markets. With how are economy is doing currently and add the decrease in water to the situation. The demand of certain items will be above the supply increasing the price dramatically. Which will do nothing but to fatten the pocket book of store owners.

I知 starting to join a couple farmers market this year and price talk among them are still high. I知 worried with the economy people might not be able afford the market goods.

This coming year could be very tough on us all.

What kinds of thefts and robberies?

No water means no farm. I don't know how I'd get by in that situation.

the best way to controll people is to starve them, when people have to come to the town hall to pick up their five pounds of flour and their jar of peanut butter, the people giving it will have total controll
