This article is about government tests of how bacteria spreads by essentually spraying the population of San Francisco without their knowledge with bacteria in 1950.
Actually the government did a lot of 'scientific studies' using unsuspecting people. The military was very active using military dependents as they were a group they could follow easily and control better than most. I remember getting an 'experimental' drug when I was a child and was very sick. I got about two doses of the stuff, that luckily for me, was so foul tasting that my mother gave it back to the military hospital, telling them to try themselves because she couldn't get me to take it.

Just to get the conspiracy deniers out of the way first. This and a lot of other events were talked about for a long time, but denied by a lot as nuts.

There are so many well documented instances of the government using the population as lab rats, I'm sort of floored when I see people having blind faith in this system. Not only are they able and willing.... but they HAVE. Enough said.

Trouble with conspiracy theory is that you have to assume there are conspirators capable of engineering a program.

Me- I think it is the result of a mental condition where doing good overrides the people you insist on doing good for. The thought process where the greater good overwhelms individual good without regard to differences in what people think is the greater good or that individual power is much more likely to produce greater good than any one person's ideas.
I don't think there is a conspiracy because frankly I don't think that this government has the discipline or organization to conspire successfully. What happens is just a bunch of disconnected monomaniacs who are not restrained because at least they have an idea in the absence of any idea in a government who has no of idea of the worth of the individual.

I really try to remove the term "conspiracy theory" from my intake. It's a practice of language meant to disarm people in search of an answer. It's worked. If you mention it, you may as well say "nutcase". What is a conspiracy besides an organized attempt to bring about a desired result in a more or less covert manner?

As for theory...some things we can theorize on, and some things are either declassified, in your face facts, or have a body of evidence that would hold up in any fair court if there were such a thing.

The scientists and politicians involved in Nazi Germany's dark past were neither incompetent or half witted...they were intelligent, well organized and evil. The US brought many of those minds here to run the game on us.

Well organized evil does exist on this planet and it's not restrained by national borders.

But that assumes that evil is more intelligent than good. And I don't think it is. But evil is easier than the restraint and self examination required to be good, so evil is allowed to flourish.
If people can not rouse themselves to defend evil done to others, then they are already in line for evil to be done to themselves.

Well, if you beieve in God, as I do, absolutely...ultimate Good is more intelligent than ultimate evil. However when it comes to you and I and all the non-movers and shakers of the world, the good guys play fair while the bad guys hatch their deeds in darkness and cover. If we look around at the world and this country, we see a downturn in morality and integrity and we see clearly that evil is very active and very successful. When we talk about what TPTB did decades ago, consider that what is Visible to us in governement now looks far worse than what was visible to us then. So what do you think they're doing in secret now?

I agree...good people need to stand up for what's right, but one thing generally good hearted people tend to fail in is their inability to conceive of the things that evil can and will do. We have to face an ugly truth before we can deal with it. Even if it shakes our world to the core.

As I recall, ten years ago anyone who questioned the official WTC attack story must hate America. After all, we didn't need an investigation when we had a perfectly good official story.
