Gay Man Files $70M Suit Against Bible Publishers Over ‘Homosexual’ Verses

Bradley LaShawn Fowler, an ex-con turned author, filed the federal suit in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan on Monday, the same day a judge refused to appoint him a lawyer for his suit against Thomas Nelson, The Grand Rapids Press reported.
“The Court has some very genuine concerns about the nature and efficacy of these claims,” the judge wrote.

Most of the articles I found also go back to 2008 and I can't find any that indicate he won his lawsuit or that there has been any ruling that the bible has to be rewritten.

People forget that anyone, anywhere, for just a small fee can file a lawsuit obout most anything at all.
It doesn't mean it will ever get past the first judge who reads it before sending it to the shredder
It also doesn't mean whoever filed it was serious to begin with

The way our courts work, if he filed it in 2008 it should be coming up for trial about now. His attorneys probably wanted to postpone it till they could get a jury who would agree with them.

Well... I think this thread is a pretty solid example of who actually understands the way things work in this country. Talk about losing your marbles over nothing. Even the quote in the OP suggests that the judge thought this guy was out of bounds. If this is what you're panicking over, I recommend therapy.
