Never really taken the time to look at one. That's why they call it "fast food" isn't it?

Most of the time it looks like the ads. No problem, and when I shared my McMuffin with my horse, he liked it and didn't complain if it was a little lopsided in the box. LOL

When it's ALL ground up and squirted out into hamburger patties,

does it really matter what part of the bovine it comes from?

At least it's not pink slime . . . (or IS it?)

I don't know about elsewhere but here all of the A&W's Uncle Burgers with cheese and bacon actually look bigger and better than the ads and the Alberta beef they use is thick and deliciously savoury. I loooovvve Uncle Burgers.

Somebody needs to go after Hardee's for this. They must use midgets for their TV ads. I can see making the product look as good as possible, but the SIZE should be fairly accurate. They show a gorgeous model unhinging their jaw to try to eat a burger that appears half the size of their head. I've bought one of those 'monsters, and could practically hide it in my hand, and I'm a pretty average 5'10" 190 lbs. I no longer eat there partially because of their deceptive ads. The other reason (besides my health) is that a specialty burger with upsized fries and drink came to over NINE dollars! I can eat for less than that in a nice, sit-down restaurant.

As a newbie in Nashville I once ordered ONE Krystal saying that it's probably all I could eat. The lady behind the counter muttered 'oh lawd...you yankees' and shook her head.

Stopped at DQ on Tuesday on our way home from emptying out property back in IL that we are trying to get ready to sell. I spent a good 5 minutes staring at the pics of the various sandwiches on the 'board' trying to find one that looked like something DH would like. He doesn't like what he calls 'garbage burgers' where they see how much they can pile between the burger and the bun nor do we eat cheese on our sandwiches.

All burgers had cheese on them so I picked one that looked like it just had the regular condiments on it plus lettuce and had them hold the cheese.

Once on the road I unwrapped his burger and it was a sloppy mess loaded with mayo that was dripping everywhere. I had to scrape scrape scrape before it was something that could be eaten with one hand while driving and it still ooze all over.

Lesson learned? They don't always look as pictured and in the future I will say hold the cheese, hold the mayo.
