Apparently, the CIA is now on twitter.

Their first tweed, I kid you not: We can neither confirm nor deny that this is our first tweet.

Ha! I think that is rather clever and fun! I wonder what their marketing agenda is for Twitter. Most businesses or government entities use social media to disseminate information. It seems odd for the CIA to be using it in that manner.

Our government is in the business of lying
This lets them lie to more people faster.
It's also a good way for the government to reach young people who are more likely to believe the lies.

Never saw the interest in twitter. Facebook, at one time early on, but no longer.
