NPR program to cover land rights issue

Listening to the radio on my way home from work, I heard that the NPR program All Things Considered is going to run a story on today's program about ranchers/farmers in the prairie who are up against endangered species regulations. Seems very timely to what is going on and I'm interested to see how this topic will be covered by what is often considered to be a liberal leaning news source. If you don't listen on the radio but are interested in hearing it, you can usually listen to the program the day after it airs on their website. http://www.npr.org/programs/all-things-considered/

Just thought I'd put it out there in case anyone else wanted to tune in.

Sounds interesting! I love how they go in depth on things and get all the angles.

I missed the program! My husband came to me with his laptop, asking me to get it connected to the wireless printer and, well...

I'll have to look for it tomorrow and give it a listen.

I enjoy their programs too... but don't think for a moment that they get "all the angles". They get the liberal left side very thoroughly ..... the other side? Not so much.

It's true they do lean to the liberal side of things, however, they are one of the sources that at least makes an effort to present the other side. I've seen it done very well on some subjects, not so much on others depending on who the journalist is. I've never been impressed by the commercial television news. I usually go to cnn to look at the headlines to see if there is a major world event going on that I should know about and then either to NPR or Reuters.

Sometimes I like to read RT.com as well to get a totally different perspective on things. It's interesting to see how news is spun all over the world.

NPR is just like Fox News.

People hear what they want to hear.
