Exclamation 200 million American IDs compromised through Experion

A Vietnamese scammer, hijacked and distributed millions of IDs he acquired through Experian; one of America’s big three credit bureaus:

I hate all the big "3" for the bs monopoly system of the whole idea of credit scoring. That's another story thread.

My company recently started requiring all new hire employees to fill out form 8850
http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f8850.pdf
for the benefit of getting tax credits for hiring certain individuals. They use Experian to coordinate this data.

I didn't even know they provided services like that. Since my job is at a staffing company, the number of new hires at my site right now is in the several hundreds for seasonal work.
I feel fortunate I didn't need to fill one out myself.
I don't trust any of them.

Apparently faith is not enough, eh?

(No insult intended ... I just thought the juxtaposition was funny.)

OK, Kim is suggesting to use Lifelock for protection. Does anyone use it? Does anyone use something else they feel is better - and why?

Not to use Life Lock that Costs each and every month. Freeze Your Credit, that is a one time small fee 10 bucks or less for all three reporting credit companies.
