Interesting, and informative to a point. He left out completely the corporate tax rate in the US is the world's highest. International companies would be crazy to repatriate their profits.

When he uses Alan Grayson as a credible source he loses me.

I have no doubt our politicians have sold us out, for various selfish reasons, and many of the treaties are slanted heavily towards others. My problem with the author/cartoonist's reasoning is the underlying theme of isolationism and tariffs.

I agree with the author on one thing, secret negotiations are not likely to end in our favor.

ETA: Showing the Tea Party people as irrational nutjobs doesn't help his credibility either.
