Beware.....a postive post!
Angie......I accept the challenge!
My youngest daughter, 19, is on the fast track.............
to
becoming
a
Marine
She scored in the top 30% on her asvab yesterday.
She goes next week for her medicals.
Some time in between now and then, she will decide what it is she wants to do, as a Marine.
She is tough headed....and because of that tenacity, she can be, do, achieve ANYTHING she wants.
Tough headed ain't all a bad thing.
She can be meaner than snot, and gentle as a lamb, all in the same breath if she needs to be.
She is a quick learner, and resourceful.
She is determined.
She has, little, fear. In the healthy sense (not as in do 100 miles an hour on black ice and yank the E brake.)
She's never done drugs, drank, smoked, or had trouble with the law.
My baby is awesome.
She will be the first Marine since my great Uncle Raymond, who was killed in action in WW2.
I am so proud of her.
