Something worse then meth has hit the U.S.

It's sounding like it just got here from Russia very recently. I don't know how to link but it's called krokodil. It mimics heroin and is injectable and literally eats the body from the inside out. If you Google it the images are very graphic and not for the weak stomached.

That's one of the new "synthetic "drug compounds that have been around for a while. The thing is the laws do not exist to make them illegal and as soon as they are made illegal a couple ingredients are changed along with the name and we play the same game of catch up over and over again.

Doesn't sound like a long term type addiction.

Maybe it should be called the "Darwin Drug".

I agree. Anyone who's doing something like this is so far gone, there isn't going to be much hope for them.

Exactly!!!! I view this as just another form of population control. If they are stupid enough to use this stuff do we really want them multiplying? The only problem is that we will probably have to, somehow, pay for their problem through increased taxes.

Not really a self-correcting issue. The real problem with drug addicts is all the things they do to harm innocent people during their downward spiral.
The process of their self-destruction ends up being profoundly selfish.

If people were willing to take more responsibility for their own safety and security I think the harm would be restricted to those who willingly associate with said addicts. Yeah their families still suffer but perhaps their suffering will teach someone.

I am unsympathetic.

I read some about this a while ago. This is just the nastiest drug of all! I can't imagine why ANYONE would try this. Their life span is pretty short too after becoming addicted. I'm thinkin' it was like 2 years, but not sure about that. It's so horrible that my heart is heavy just thinking about what state a person must be in to do this to themselves.

I don't disagree with this, not one bit--- and yet, I remain unsympathetic. Choosing a dope that eats you away is natural selection at play.
