4 more hours of work!

Pulled my usual 8 only to get pegged for 4 more. So I work til 3am. Not a problem, the job is easy and the money is good. I am just glad some of you wonderful folk are awake to talk to while I'm on break! Now, if I was only with it enough to think of something to talk about...:screwy:

The relative merits of hop scotch over playing jacks or jump roping.?

Crystals in the windows to make rainbows or shades to keep the sun out?

New cars and make payments, or old cars and make repairs?

Conventional houses or tiny houses or unusual houses?

The last two are good topics. If I don't keep my mind spinning, I will fall asleep.

Cars. While modern and new is nice and cool, they are also impossible to fix without someone highly qualified. Older, they are expensive to run. I like the look and feel of an older car, but as a young family with limited time and money I like my newer mini van. What about you Angie?

No one in their right mind is awake at 3:00 AM. I know because I work 3rd shift and I don't see anyone in their right mind at that time.

At least no one in a factory or production type job is awake at 3am. I was last night, again and barely. Tonight, I can crawl into bed at my normal midnight

I like to have a car that I know will work. So I keep a relatively new car. I'd rather have payments I can budget for than new engines that I don't have the funds to fix for months.

My personal car is 13 years old and developing a few personality 'quirks' but I only need it to run the 2 miles to and from work and around town occasionally. The main vehicle is an 07 mini van. That we maintain and keep up properly because the wife and kids are always in it.
