It was worth watching even if only to see some things not to do.

Watch on youtube. I don't know how long it will be up on youtube so catch it now while you can.

The acting was fair, the home grown amateur pov video at times, annoying, but overall I think it was worth the watch. If for no other reason then I think it did a reasonable job of portraying the escalation of panic and fear as the crisis drug on. I especially liked how on day one all the suburbanites took the opportuinity to BBQ and hang outside with all the nighbors while all the college kids treated it as just another opportunity to party in the dorm. And then, how by day 5 the party was long, long over as people realized help wasn't coming.

Because of the perspective used, the urban/suburbanites should at least get the message to stash a case of bottled water. It's hard for me to understand how anyone can have so little food in their cupboards, but I suppose that is reality. I'm not sure how the kids who survived the stuck elevator could have appeared so well without anything to eat.

It's worth watching, but keep in mind it was produced by Hollywood. Some stereotypes were exaggerated, and not really any useful information as far as surviving a catastrophe.
