as much as this hits home for me- my FIL has Dementia and a sleep disorder and it is running my MIL down mentally and physically having to strip the bed daily and remake it-
this is a ridiculous marketing campaign...
FYI-he soaks thru the depends and the plastic outer ware guard she has him wearing...

I heard an ad on the radio for peppermint scented butt wipes. The ad was being read by a football player. Said he loves them. I can't see John Wayne endorsing peppermint scented butt wipes.

OK..the flip side of this from an "old" nurse here. Ads for women products for the same disorder are not shunned by others. Men have the same "leakage" problem for some reason or another..So..if issues are talked about then people are more likely to discuss their problems with their doctors for help. I don't appreciate products being shown on TV either..condoms..birth control..etc..but yet..this is the age we are in..Many people with these problems are not aware of simple help they can buy at their local store to make their lives more comfortable..

I've seen the commercials. I don't know who that guy is and I don't care. I say kudos to him and the product he's endorsing. They've lightly addressed a natural health and hygeine problem that most men are too embarrassed or too 'macho' to admit to or to recognize they'll most likely have the same problem themselves when they get older.

Tell me about it! I have my Dad living here, severe Dementia also. I change sheets and bedding at least twice a night.
As to the OP, when men started getting manicures and pedicures at nail salons, it became obvious that the "Wussification" was complete...
