The simple things I never think of...

If I'd just THINK.. .I could be rich too..

I could be selling these cases for $100... They basically render your phone useless.. We all know that's much better than just leaving your phone at home.. Or.. not buying one..

Dropping them in a bucket of warm soapy water while washing the truck also does the trick. I know this because...

Wonder if it also blocks the actual cell signal necessary for the phone to work?

In any case it doesn't look like it would work for me as it doesn't say that it can survive being run over by a tractor tire.

Yes, it's basically just a Faraday cage.. Keeps signals from going in or out..

... to prevent your phone from being tracked or used as a real time eavesdropping device...
I'm wondering why you couldn't just remove the battery and accomplish the same thing.

Well.. some phones you can do that with.. but not an iPhone.. no removable battery.. Apple wants you to just buy a new phone..

BUT, if you don't want to be tracked.. DON'T TAKE A PHONE.. it's so much cheaper a solution..

The second you take the phone out of it's little cage.. then they know where you are..

This is someone making money off other's paranoia and stupidity..

But sometimes you want to have a phone with you in case you need it.

Sure, as soon as you take it out then they know where you are, but they don't know everywhere you've been for the last several hours while it's been in the case.

I turn GPS off on my phone. It still sends a signal when I make a call, but no GPS is available.

I don't trust turning off the GPS. Not sure if you can even do that on iPhone.

Makes no difference.. you phone is constantly pinging towers and your location can be pinned down pretty close.. Not to mention anyone could put a back door in that can turn on the mic or camera without your knowledge.
