Sounds to me like the attorneys picked him clean like the buzzards they are, and now they've got his money they're done with him. What I don't understand is why he doesn't just walk out and go home. They'd have a heck of a time trying to keep me there.

Another person the 'system' is failing. It seems the more money you have the more trouble the system gives you until the break you. However if you need the system it is no where to be found

No surprise.

States are so used to spending tax money, caring for those, who have absolutely nothing, that if you have "something" they are going to get it while they can.

Losing your life savings stinks, but the saddest part, is that he had no one, in his life, that could/would be designated to attend to his affairs, in his time of need.
