Sorry for your loss.... I know how tough it can be to lose someone near and dear. She was quite a lil hottie back in the day though wasnt she?

Oh, yeah. I was crazy about her too. I remember her from the black & white mousekateer show in the late 50s. Then she did all those surfing movies.

God bless her. She suffered for many years. My uncle had MS and spent the last 20 years of his life in bed, in pain.

...................I wrote her a long love letter when I was a 'prisioner' in military school in San Antonio way back in 1964 ! I was a junior in the second semester and wishing I was back in regular HS in west tx . I thought then , as I still do , Today , that , she was a class act and has been so all her life . , fordy

My older sister had a Mouseketeer fan book that was already old and worn out by the time I got my grubby little hands on it. I used to look at AF in her pretty dresses and wished I could be her, all 'grown up' and beautiful.

ETA: One time in high school, I even bought a particular dress because it reminded me of a one she wore in that book! lol! I was only disappointed that it didn't poof out on the bottom like the one she wore...no crinolines in the 80s

The first girl I fell in love with.
As pretty inside as she was outside.

I remember I had Annette Funicello paper dolls. She was something special!

My DH described her today as innocence and hotness all wrapped up in a nice package. I remember my Daddy thinking she was mighty pretty too, back in the day.

I'm so sorry she suffered so much the last years of her life.
