Gun show tomorrow

Gun show tomorrow in Springfield, Missouri. I'm thinking of bringing some books and selling them out in the parking lot to take advantage of the "gun show loophole".
Does that sound as stupid to you as it does to me?

Get there early if you want to buy anything. We had a show at the local fire hall last weekend, and the vendors sold out by Saturday, noon.

We had a show week before last. When I went by before they opened there was probably 200 waiting in line. I thought I would come back later after the rush.
Came back about 10am and the line was about 700 long.
Prices were sky high.

Darn since it is in another state I cant buy anything but ammo or your books. If you know one in Arkansas I would like to know about it.Nothing wrong with your books but I have read most of them.

Been quite a while since I've been to a gun show. Pretty much satisfied with the guns I have now. I bought a Bushmaster when Obama got elected the first time. You remember that time? That was back when many people were saying Obama was NOT going to try to take away the guns we cling to. I'm not sure who was saying that. Anybody remember saying it?
(Sound of crickets)

I've been watching the local WalMart. I notice they've been very quiet lately on the subject of rifles. Been waiting to see if they cave in to the pressure and stop selling Bushmasters. They've already jacked up the prices.
If they cave, I may finally start boycotting Walmart.

We went to a Springfield gun show about 6 months ago, and it was shoulder to shoulder even then. I'm staying away from this one.

You know, I guess I;m unusually consious of this, but I just dont post about guns. Perhaps because I have severalLEO's in my family, but I dont like to announce on a open forum that I have guns-think about it-what neighbor that you dont know is reading?

All my neighbors can hear me exercising my guns 3-4 times a week, unless they have serious hearing loss they know....

I'd go sell your books while you can. Soon the bookground check will be enforced everywhere.

Went to the gun show, and it was standing room only. It was hard to walk down the aisles there were so many people there. On the nearest highway where you turned off to go to the show there was a line of cars waiting to exit the highway about a mile long on the shoulder. It took almost an hour just to get to the grounds. Strangely enough, I didn't see anybody wearing an Obama hat, shirt or button.
I'm glad I went, though. I managed to get a Pistol Bayonet for one of my pistols. I still need to get bayonets and mounts for all my other pistols, rifles and shotguns(and my canes) before they outlaw them. That way my bayonets and lugs will be grandfathered in, and I won't have to give them up. The next time somebody tries to bayonet me, I'll be ready, and I'll bayonet them first. Boy, won't they be surprised when I pull out my pistol and stick them with the bayonet.

Gun show tomorrow - General Chat
Last "assault rifle ban" outlawed bayonet lugs. I'm waiting to see what other stupid laws they'll come up with this time around.

Isn't that bayonet going to ruin a good holster?

If it's time to fix bayonets, the pistol probably shouldn't be in the holster.
