The guy was making a point and I agree with him just not sure if right thing at this time.

I have carried Openly many times and turned Heads because many don't realize it is Legal as it should be.

Missouri is a carry state, in others words, you can carry weapons in Missouri exposed ...

I do not see it as a point being made ... In Virginia it is becoming more common... Folks are just starting to carry open...

I see the biggest reason why most folks don't carry even tho the law allows it ,is for just the reason this guy found out.. Is it worth the hassle from the people?? And being escorted out of the theatre and told you can go back,, "with-out" the gun???
I think,, "consealed" would be more appropriate..

Yes, Missouri has concealed weapons, open weapons, and weapons with weapons. The people I know that have concealed weapons are very proud of it and want you to know they have them. They are scarey people: "Wanta see my gun!"

No, most of us concealed carry people keep our mouth shut--unless you have a brainless neighbor that would tell everyone "be careful around her, she carries a gun!" needless to say, I'm no longer friends with her.

Iowa is a Permit to Carry state. You can legally carry open and concealed with the permit. I choose to carry concealed, why give away your ability to defend yourself? It seems bad to me to give away your advantage.

Thing is Missouri is Open Carry without Permit has been long as I've known I would carry Cut Off shotgun all the time in town.

The Guy carrying into the Theater I believe was trying to make a point that if people would have been able to in Colorado things would have been different.

I actually don't care if friends/neighbors tell others that I carry concealed. Keeps 'em guessing as to whether I'm armed at the time, or not.
No one needs to know for sure.

I like to Open Carry then they know where they stand.Pick up Hitch Hikers,lay Pistol on the seat.No problem and yes it's Loaded.
