What's a food everyone in your family likes but you, and...

What's a food that only you like?

For me...everyone else seems to relish cottage cheese. I can't do it. Tried...gives me the gags. Now on the other hand, I love beets. I'm alone here on this, in my clan.

Fish and cottage cheese. I am the only one that likes either of them.

Hot dogs - I don't care for them, but everybody else would eat them often. Gotta be Oscar Meyer, gotta be grilled but not burnt, then I can eat them once or twice a summer.

As far as something I like and nobody else - liver n onions. I make it for dinner every great once in awhile and DH will make a sandwich, he doesn't even want to smell it cooking.

To me potatoes and rice together in the same soup is a big gag. Nobody else in the house seems to care.

The hotdog thing too. To me that is not food. The guys are all about them.

My DH doesnt like fish. The only time I get it is in restaurants.
He cannot abide the smell of it cooking.

We go around about sweet pickles versus dill too.:

I hate fish--great I married in to a commercial fishing family. I get all the beets, roasted garlic, and liver.

Stuffed green peppers. I eat the whole thing; DW and DDs leave behind the pepper.

I normally eat the skin of a baked potato; DW and DDs leave the skin behind.

I love Vienna sausages; DW and DDs leave them behind at the store.

My family loves pudding, but I can't stand it (it's the slimy texture).

I like cooked sweet peppers (like stuffed peppers or Oriental Pepper Steak), but the rest of the family would rather never have cooked peppers, even in small amounts in a sauce or soup or such.

Sauerkraut - I love it, no one else will eat it. Everyone else likes that nasty fruity cereal. I rarely buy it, but will occasionally for a treat.

I don't like really hot foods. I don't eat buffalo wings. Even at the Mexican place, I order things with gr pepper substituted for jalepenos. Everyone else likes hot stuff.

I do eat pretty much everything else while the others are pickier.

The cooked bell pepper thing here too (yum) and the sweet (gag) vs. dill pickles.

My problem is there isn't much I don't like, unless it's fast food and beets yuck!

I have a pretty strong aversion to cooked squash, which of course DD and DW adore. Even the smell of it cooking makes me feel woozy. They, on the other hand, are repelled by sardines, which IMO are nature's perfect food.

I often wonder what's wrong with them, but life is full of such mysteries.

cannot stand lobster or hominy, but I get to enjoy liver cheese sandwiches that the rest of the family will gag at.

I love bread pudding. No one else will touch it. So I very seldom ever make it because I will devour the whole thing.

I am the only one who eats fresh tomatoes. Everyone loves them cooked.

I can't eat meat. Everyone else is a carnivore.

Candy corn. I think it's horrible.

I do like candied ginger. I can polish off a whole bag, munching on it piece by piece. No one else here seems to find it tempting.

I don't touch hot dogs, but the rest of the family does. I love calves liver and brussel sprouts, but no one else will eat them.
