Visualize gasoline

An excellent article - linked below - that helps to explain what gasoline does for us, as well as the penalty we must pay to use it.

An excerpt:

Visualize slowly pushing your car miles at a time, your leg and arm muscles straining to move a ton or two of metal, and you may gain some appreciation for how much power is being released by each drop of the gasoline that speeds our cars down the road with virtually no effort required on our part.

Interesting article. I'm willing to pay the price for using fossel fuels like gasoline. I also use nitromethane, alcohol, benzine, acetone, and other wonderful chemicals that make/my life easier.

Yeah, I realize that. The mind is funny that way, in thinking there is no other option.

You ought to type "benzene toxicity" in a search engine..

No one should take gasoline for granted. We should be appreciative of how much raw power is created by both diesel and gasoline. Each time I drive pass a gas station I marvel at the ease and convenience of rolling in and purchasing all I need for whatever task is at hand. The abundance of energy is one item which separates a third world country from a first world society. I am very thankful for the opportunity to purchase all I can afford, anytime I choose . . . that is nice visual image.
