Wolves are pack oriented and very loving. These wolves are acting very submissive (face licking, lowered tails, urinating) towards her so they see her as dominant. She is not in danger from them.

when i lived in the boondocks, i loved the howl and call of the wolves. it wasn't uncommon to see the pups. i so wanted to hold and cuddle but i resisted. we never lost a dog or cat due to the wolves who co-habitated with us.

We hear them occasionally and I love them too. We've not lost any animals to them including during lambing season (we do have LGD's). They do keep the coyotes away when they roam into this area.

Did you ever see the video of the 2 guys who raised a lion cub, taught him to hunt & live in the wild and then released him? They went back to see him after a year I think it was and he reconized them, and jumped all over them, hugging them and even his mate was letting them pet her. It was totally amazing. It was on utube.
