Question for GBTV subscribers
I am a GBTVplus (on-demand) subscriber and I watch the shows when I have time. Usually a week behind when they originally air, and I fast forward though all the commercials, the news breaks, and any of the sessions that are done by his people. In some cases his show topic for the day doesn't interest me so I end up skiping those shows after I preview the beginning for a few minutes. This works well for me as it allows me to quickly scan the subject matter and decide if I want to watch it, thus maximizing the value-added time (for me).
I tuned in today and started looking through the past weeks shows and it looks like he has changed the format? It looks like he has cut the show in half and the last half of the two hours is not GB, but the real-news program (which doesn't interest me)? Anybody have the background on what is going on here?
Thanks

Yeah, he just started doing the one-hour show last Monday. He kinda explained it last Monday, but not really. I don't know if the two-hour show will return or not. It sounds like he is trying to get another studio set up.
At first, the two-hour show seemed to take forever to get thru, but now the one-hour show just zips by.
I wasn't sure if I was going to like the Real News at first, but it grows on you. They have some good guests on the show. The discussions are very lively and very thought-provoking. I like the younger faces and different perspectives as opposed to the stone-faced talking heads on the cable networks.

He did have a show last Friday instead of Scott Baker's show, but it was taped earlier in the week. He did that when he was at Fox, too. He taped Friday's show, I believe on Thursday usually. I'm not sure what he's going to do with all the shows. I think he's trying to get everyone out of NYC and down in Texas, once he gets all the sets in the new studio built.
I really miss Independence USA. I hope they produce more shows like that.

How much does it cost to subscribe to his show? I keep meaning to look it up and forget so figured I would ask here while it's on my mind.

Here is a link. There is a place on the right side of the screen, a little ways down, where you can sign up. You get 2 weeks for free then it's $4.99 a month for the 5 pm show and $11.99 for the whole package. The link will describe it more. We bought a Roku to watch it on the TV. You can get a lot of other cable channels thru the Roku and we've been thinking about canceling our cable as soon as the contract runs out.

I liked it too. I'm hoping he'll expand and have some regular programing. I really like the old shows he has, but hate that none of them say what they are without opening it up.

I got my Roku as a Christmas gift from Dh so I could watch Glenn, but I was excited to see the other networks on it. We also got netflix on it, but they have a lot of free channels too.

Haven't watched GB since he left the telly...
Watching via the internet is not going to happen... we have broadband, but it ain't that broad (download allowances)...

Our DD has a GB phone app. She can watch the main segments of any show without having to watch all of the show, from her fancy phone! She really likes the app because she is too busy to watch the whole show and there are no commercials this way.

I'm glad someone mention Glenn Beck's name ... I don't watch TV, and when I saw the title of the thread, I thought .....'There is a Gay-Bisexual TV channel ??' (GBTV) The last piece of a show I watched was Auction hunters, then I went to bed ..... I bet I watch maybe .. an hour or two combined of TV in a 7 day week ......

Anybody know how to stop that annoying pop-up that shoots in from the right side of the screen while on the blaze website?
I have adblock plus installed on my firefox but it doesn't stop that one. I know that's not an 'ad' per say, but there must be a way to block it.

Alright, it looks like I got it. I updated add block and loaded Ghostery to fire fox, and that seems to have solved the problem. That website is loaded with more trackers than any I've seen to date. 21 of them to be specific according to Ghostery.

We do use GBTV as part of homeschooling. We all know that book can be spendy. There is so much to gain with GBTV. Now, the kid does not sit there glue to the screen. For entertainment he really wanted Indep Day. We have the radio on all day so we get the news from GB and weigh it out with what we heard on the national new.
I guess that we are lucky we have unlimited Broadband.
Oh and he has GREAT ADVERTISORS Shout to MPS who is a member here.

Satellite internet has very severe bandwidth restrictions. Ten minutes of video every now and then won't kill ya, half an hour? your down for the rest of the day... much more'n that and you get a 24 hour "timeout" with speeds less than dialup. So no video. Do wish GB hadn't left satellite tv.
We have sat tv and sat net, if only the two could merge...
