you know what HT is missing......
Here where there is the Specialty Forums, there is a retirement section, veteran section, and all the others but there is not a
Pregnant and New Families section!
I do go to other forums but for so many people that are pregnant wither it be the first time or the 10th. It would be a great place for new moms to be able to ask all those questions that you feel silly or weird asking other people to the people that have had many pregnancy's.
I am 29 weeks pregnant with my 4th and final baby. We had always said that 4 was our magic number. But I am finding that I want to hang on to this one..... I do not want this pregnancy to end (I know sounds crazy) I do love being pregnant. I am so luck to have had such easy pregnancys. I feel GREAT! I rode my horses right up until I was 37 week with my last daughter.
Who else is pregnant and what # is this one???

Congrats on your 4th! Braver than me... I stopped at 2!
But, wouldn't this be considered "Countryside Families"?

You would think that Countryside Families would be that place, but it seems to be more of a "General Chat" than this section?

How long are you going to be pregnant? I am a veteran and will be one for the rest of my life. I think that kind of condition can be outgrown. I am glad you are pregnant and have a hope that your child is normal or brighter then most everybody else but to tie it down to what you want to is too much of a hassle.

Perhaps the mods in CF should reign the forum back into what it was meant to be for? If a thread isn't "family-related" enough for the "family" forum, it should be moved to the appropriate forum.
Lots of threads are misplaced, but wow... there can't possibly be a separate forum for each of every persons' separate whims. I understand what you're saying, but we have to be realistic.

The wife asked me one day, "You know what we need, but don't have?". I answered "A Korean Hooker?". She doesn't ask questions like that anymore

Definitely the Families section. It's everyone around the dinner table. Sometimes it's a little contentious, but most of the time, it's wonderful.

How about a childless by choice section?

Maybe it could be a generic hookers section?

That's too broad. Maybe separate sections for the different nationalities of hookers.

I've derailed threads before, but have never started a movement!

I guess I will stick to going other places to take about the joys about being pregnant!
I may only be pregnant for another 10 weeks, but I will be a mother for the rest of my life!

I'm sorry for derailing your motherhood thread, I really am. I have a sickness... Anyways, congrats on the baby, and I do hope it goes smoothly for you. Having been a father twice, I can appreciate what you are going through. It is a rush of emotions, and can get pretty hairy at times. Just hold on, and things will work out.

Or simply childless whether by choice or not?

Back to the OP: moms and kids = families.
CF is where you will find like-minded people.

Because a lot of people think we're freaks, we need to unite
Should probably hold a rally in DC

I agree with Easy Day, Country Families is the best place to post about it and not get your topic derailed there like you will get it derailed here in GC.
Why don't you just start a new topic there?
