Is Michelle still hating America?

Remember when our First Lady said she'd never been proud of her country, (before her husband got the nomination...) or some such leftist drivel...

wonder how Her Highness is liking it now?

She never misses an opportunity to leave the country so I'm guessing she does...

I'll bet she regrets those words now!

Still, "not being proud of" is different from "hating".

The thread title is like one of those "Are you still beating your wife" questions.

I read today she's been on 16 vacations (trips) in the past 3 years, so it sounds like she's having the time of her life. She had to wait a whole month after getting back from Hawaii to go skiing in Aspen. That must have been a drag.

The jet lag must have been getting to her.

Nothing a good ski trip can't conquer!

And Bush and family took twice as many vacation days as the Obamas which was mentioned in the link. No one harassed them. People go on vacation - Christmas, Summer and spring break. Lots of long weekends in the year too. And as even Bush Sr. said - no President is ever really on vacation.

Most of Bush's vacations were to thier ranch or Camp David etc. But y'all can deny deny deny all you want, doesn't change the fact that the Ultimate Welfare Queen has wasted (yes, you read that correctly, *wasted*) millions of taxpayer dollars (YOUR tax dollars as well as mine) on her lovely vacays. Not a *thing* will alter THAT fact, like it or not.

Did you mean Michelle Antoinette? Wasn't she the one that said "Let them take their 99 weeks and vacation in Vale or Diamond Head instead"?

Let's play Guess the Speaker. Who said this?

Hint: It's the same guy who, when someone expressed concern over gas prices, told the concerned to buy a smaller car.

When did idea of "Leading by example" get taken out with the trash?

those tremendous 'one liners' that their highly paid and overly imaginative speech writers come up with.

"Do as I say, not as I do.".....comes to mind.

Hmmmmm......not attributed to anyone person, so I guess ANYONE can still use it.....

There is nothing wrong with just giving advice. Leading by example is a great way to get the message across IF you are in the same circumstances but giving good advice does not mean you have to follow the same advice if you personally have no need to.

If you cannot afford something it is prudent to readjust your life. Look around you and see who has been successful at what you have questions and concerns about.

The Obamas are rich - in their own right. They can afford vacations. Both President Bush Sr. and Jr. were also rich in their own right so could also afford vacations. I am not rich but I can afford not-as-glamorous vacations. My sister cannot. My advice to her is to stop shopping for shoes or get a part time job on top of her regualr job for a while in order to save for a vacation. There is no need for me to lead by example. We make our own choices.

I have to admit I don't understand a society that strives for and worships success but is then filled with envy over SOME of those that accomplished what they did not.

The Obama administration is in a recession but the Bush administration was at the height of two wars. So I guess it was noble for Bush to vacation under those circumstances? but ignoble for Obama to vacation during an economic downturn.

"The Obama administration is in a recessionA"

I'll admit I had a tendency to turn off the tv every time Obama(or any other politician) starts talking, but didn't he promise he was going to fix the country? I'm pretty sure I heard him say something along those lines.
BTW, it's not just the administration that's in a recession. The whole country is in it.

You're still ignoring the fact that Bush mainly went to his own home in TX, while Bo and MO are jetsetting all over the world, with the kids, the dog and lots of their friends tagging along.

Bush wasn't telling people they had to give up a piece of their pie

You guys are wasting your time trying to convince an Obama disciple that he's lazy and corrupt.
Truth doesn't matter to them.

No he just helped himself to the pie that is going to have to be paid for by the next generations. The war is part of the huge deficit STARTED by the Bush administration.

BO has tripled it in less than 4 years, and STILL vacations all over the world.

Denial doesn't change the truth
If you want to complain about Bush, you should be complaining even more about BO

How long will Obama be able to ride that excuse?

oh stop it again. it was started by the Libs telling banks that they had to sell homes to people that could never afford the payment. What did you expect? Socialism to work or sumthen? Go ahead give your kids a cell phone and then tell them they have to pay for the calls-

The Obamas are rich - in their own right. They were never rich. They both lost their Law licenses ,her for scamming the People with Hospital procedures she was saving the Hospital tons of $$$ and him for Lying on his Bar App. Their house is a Tax scam, and now in a INC. to protect them from loosing it in lawsuits. Obama and Michell are as crooked as any other crook coming out of Chicago. They can't crawl back under their rock fast enough. They are a Disgrace to our Political system, that's why their life history is so covered up.What's wrong with folks when they look up to these kind of people.
