Activists Blame Nike Shoes For Rising Crime

Excuse me,but wouldn't that be like blaming the banks for not making their money more accessible, because thats whats causing bank robberies. But hey, what do you expect to hear from the likes of Quantel X, or his racist New Black Panther thugs.I say if they are breaking in (SHOOT THEM)That will put the crime rate on a downward spiral and if they shoot enough of them, the crime wave will flatline.

Quanell X is notorious for going off half cocked. To him, *everything* is seen through the lens of racism. The local Fox news station has a sort of 'face off' segment every night with him and a local conservative, and there has not been a single issue yet where he doesn't scream racism, even on events that should (and for lots of folks, does) transcend racism. But not for Reactionary Quanell. I can't imagine being filled with that much hate and anger. It must be exhausting.

Typical attitude of blaming others for a lack of personal responsibility. Heard him say on the local news that "those least able to afford" the tennis shoes were the ones most hurt by them. My first thought was... if they're so poor, why do they believe they need $200 tennis shoes? And why riot, knife, shoot, and rob over them? Where is the personal repsonsibility? I guess some of the "vunables" (as Sheila Jackson Lee calls them) don't have any sense of personal responsibilty. Or is it that none is expected of them, while it is expected of others?

What a stupid, stupid concept Quanell X and his thugs are putting out. I don't see Quanell setting any personal examples. Oh, right, do as he says, not as he does...

What exactly is the reason for all of the problems over a pair of shoes?
Do they last so much longer than any other pair of shoes?

Hell I would love to have a Lamborghini, every day I exhibit enough self control not to go down to the dealership and start poppin caps in those salesmen that sell them for so much.

Anybody here old enough to remember when "nice" suburban moms were fighting and nearly rioting over Cabbage Patch dolls when they were the "in" toy one Christmas? People from any walk of life can let themselves get so carried away, they absolutely lose it.

I remember it well.
Couldn't understand it then either.

Seems like every year there is some toy that causes people to forget their common sense.

I would hate to think I thought enough about some toy, article of clothing, or electronic fad to do harm to a fellow person just to beat them to the last one in the store today.

I wonder if it's a self-esteem issue. "Those least able to afford" them get a boost in their sense of self worth by owning them. A status symbol for the ego, as it were. Pitiful.
